I’m all about traditions and everything, but why am I and a bunch of people who don’t like cabbage going to make a corned-beef and cabbage dinner tonight? Does ANYONE like cabbage? Here, would you like some? We’re just going to compost it at the end of the night anyway.
It even sounds funny. Cabbage.
Maybe we could just start a leetle early on the Guinness for Sunday Funday and call that the beginning of the holiday.

I kinda like cabbage. There, I said it.

Cabbage. Is gross. Corned beef and cabbage? Seems like all you’re doing is making the gross even grosser!
Alas, it’s classic Irish, and I think you can wash just about anything down with a nice glass of Guinness.
P.S. Found your blog through the blogger group on 20sb… can’t wait to read more!

My mom made cabbage all the time when I was a kid and I really like it. She would just saute it in butter until the cabbage is soft. Then add salt. Yum. But then I think you can add butter and salt to almost anything and make it taste reasonably good!

I like cabbage in lo mein noodles. You can not taste the cabbage because of the sauce.
